This black stoneware bowl was wheel thrown and fired to a final temperature of 2171 degrees in my home studio.
I then hand painted the image of a ghost ship in white glaze and finished the rest of the piece in a blue food safe glaze that gives the feel of something found at the bottom of the ocean.
Nicely sized, appropriately 6.5 “ x 3”, it could be used as a salad bowl or on a bookshelf.
